Smile Makeovers with Porcelain Veneers
Crooked, cracked, or damaged teeth not only impair your smile, but they can also be painful and cause many other dental problems. Fortunately, damaged teeth can be permanently and effectively repaired with porcelain veneers. Veneers are thin, custom-made moldings that cover the front of the teeth to change the color, shape, misaligned teeth or uneven surfaces. Veneers generally take two to three visits. The first visit Dr Moores will take molds of your teeth and photos of your teeth and face. We send this information to one of the best labs in the country to fabricate a diagnostic wax image and replication of what your veneers may look like. This gives our patients the opportunity to see what they will look like before starting the procedure. Then the teeth are prepared in the office and temporary veneers are placed while the final case is sent to the lab for completion. The temporary veneers are made from the diagnostic wax replication so that the patient may "road test" their new smile. We want to know if the size and shape are perfect before finalizing the case. After a couple of weeks the permanent veneers are placed. We schedule follow-up appointments to finesse and polish your beautiful new smile.
